One Israeli killed, five wounded in rolling drive-by shooting attack across Sharon region; one terrorist neutralized, second being hunted by IDF and police.

One Israeli was killed and at least five others wounded Sunday morning in a drive-by shooting terror attack that unfolded across multiple sites in the Sharon region near the Judea and Samaria security barrier, Israeli security forces said.
The attack began at a gas station near Kochav Yair and continued through Tzur Yitzhak, Tzur Natan, and Selait. MDA paramedic Lior Zilberberg said crews received reports of casualties at several simultaneous locations. At the gas station near Kochav Yair, medics treated a man approximately 50 years old in serious condition and a man approximately 30 years old in moderate condition.
MDA declared an approximately 35-year-old man dead at the scene, with two others seriously wounded and three in moderate condition. All five wounded were evacuated to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba and Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva.

Civilians in central Israel towns near Herzliya have been ordered to shelter in place and not leave their homes as security forces hunt the terrorists carrying out large terror attack in the area. Massive manhunt under way. Schools in the area are also under lockdown. Home Front Command has issued a terrorist infiltration red alert in Tzur Itzhak.
Police killed one of the terrorists, identified as an Israeli Arab from Tayibe, and launched a manhunt alongside the IDF for a second suspect. A Shin Bet special unit was also dispatched. Security forces located the terrorists' vehicle, which carried Israeli license plates. The IDF placed a broad closure on Palestinian villages in the area and conducted raids in Tayibe.
The IDF said its soldiers, coordinating with security forces, were dispatched to Selait and Tzur Yitzhak following reports of multiple shooting incidents. After the terrorist was neutralized, forces began extensive searches for additional suspects and provided medical treatment to the wounded.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conducted a situational assessment. Police Commissioner Danny Levy and IDF Central Command chief Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth were en route to the scene.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for the death penalty to be applied if the second suspect is captured alive, invoking legislation his Otzma Yehudit party advanced establishing capital punishment for terrorists.
Roads in the area were sealed in both directions, including Route 557, Route 57, Route 5533, and Route 5505, as security forces continued sweeping the area.
