A 53-year-old with no known medical conditions collapsed moments after reporting chest pain at a Terem facility

Urgent care

A 53-year-old man died Tuesday at a Terem urgent care center in Jerusalem after collapsing shortly upon arrival, despite extended resuscitation efforts by medical teams.

According to facility officials, the man had no known pre-existing medical conditions and appeared healthy prior to the incident.

Noa Hirsch, director of Terem's Jerusalem district, described the sequence of events: The man approached the reception desk complaining of chest pain and severe burning in his throat, then immediately collapsed. Medical staff rushed him to the trauma room and began advanced, prolonged resuscitation procedures. An ambulance from Magen David Adom was called to the scene, but all efforts by the medical teams were unsuccessful, and his death was pronounced at the facility.

Further details are expected.
