A retired senior Shin Bet official has launched an unprecedented public attack on Israel's former Military Advocate General, demanding she face criminal prosecution and imprisonment. Lt. Col. (res.) Shosh Raban, who previously held a senior position in Israel's internal security service and is now a member of the "Bitchonistim" movement, made the remarks during a radio interview on Galei Israel with host Eli Tzipori.
Raban called for severe disciplinary and criminal measures against Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, who served as the IDF's chief legal officer. "It's not just her pension that should be revoked, her military ranks should be stripped as well," Raban said. "She should be demoted to the rank of private and held behind bars, not living freely in her home."
Elaborating on what she views as the severity of the alleged offenses, Raban stated: "For what she did, she deserves at least 20 years in prison. When you look at the full scope of what I've been talking about, you understand this isn't just about leaks, she severely damaged Israel's security."
