The municipality of Kiryat Shmona issued an alert to residents of the city and surrounding communities in the Galilee, notifying them of expected military activity in the region in the coming hours.
The announcement comes against a backdrop of heightened alert in the north and concerns over potential escalation with Hezbollah, following IDF forces' destruction of the terror organization's infrastructure on the Ali Taher ridge.
"Residents of Kiryat Shmona and Galilee communities, military activity by IDF forces is expected in the area in the coming minutes," the municipality's spokesperson stated.
