Israel's security establishment issued a severe and uncompromising warning to the Hamas terror organization on Tuesday: the group must immediately cease all military activity in civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and medical facilities in the Gaza Strip. If the military activity does not stop completely, the IDF will be forced to act against the threat hovering over the area.
According to an IDF spokesperson's statement, throughout the war and in recent days, Hamas has chosen as part of its combat strategy to operate systematically from within civilian compounds in order to advance military plans against Israeli civilians and IDF forces. The organization continues to turn hospitals and medical facilities into covert terror headquarters, cynically exploiting civilian infrastructure.
