After on-air confrontation

Bibas sister: I'll only ask forgiveness from Shiri, Ariel and Kfir

After radio host Yinon Magal said on air that Ofri Bibas-Levy should apologize to Prime Minister Netanyahu, she responded: The only ones I will ask forgiveness from until my dying day are Shiri, Ariel and Kfir

Ofri Bibas-Levy, sister of hostage Yarden Bibas and sister-in-law of Shiri Bibas, responded today (Tuesday) to radio host Yinon Magal, after he said on air that she should apologize to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a Facebook post, Bibas-Levy made clear that "the only ones I will ask forgiveness from until my dying day are Shiri, Ariel and Kfir."

During his morning show on Radio 103FM with Ben Caspit, Magal read out a list of names of people who he said had participated in the book "Mr. Hefker" (Mr. Abandonment), and called on them to apologize to Netanyahu. Among the names he read were Tami Arad, Tamir Pardo, Nimrod Shefer, Moshe Ya'alon and Ofri Bibas-Levy.

"These are abominable people. The only thing that will allow forgiving them is if they slip in the note 'forgiven to Netanyahu' in the ballot box," Magal said. "That's their only option to atone for the abomination they committed when they participated in the book 'Mr. Hefker.'"

Caspit attacked Magal's remarks and called them "the essence of Bibi-ism." According to him, "To ask forgiveness from Netanyahu. Tami Arad, whose husband we still haven't brought back, needs to ask forgiveness from Netanyahu." Magal replied: "Correct."

Caspit continued: "You've now received the most degraded, distorted essence of Bibi-ism. We dared to place responsibility on him. Netanyahu is Mr. Hefker, he abandoned the hostages. In the end Bibi is the victim and Yinon Magal is promoting this." He added that those mentioned on the list should, in his view, light a torch at the Independence Day ceremony, and said he himself was hurt that he was not included on it.

Magal responded: "It has no connection to the truth. This is all your culture." Caspit turned to Netanyahu and said: "You are Mr. Hefker, sue me," while also referring to a lawsuit threat against journalist Shlomi Eldar.
