Shin Bet-directed raids in Qabatiya and Araba thwart planned terror attack; separate operation in Beit Rima nets weapons dealer
IDF forces operating in the Menashe Brigade sector completed two arrest operations this week in the villages of Qabatiya and Araba, acting on Shin Bet intelligence to thwart a planned terror attack.
The raids netted four terrorists from the Islamic Jihad organization who were in the planning stages of an attack in the northern Samaria region.
In a separate operation in the Beit Rima area of the Binyamin Brigade, Duvdevan unit fighters arrested a wanted individual involved in weapons trafficking.
All suspects were transferred to security forces for further interrogation.
