Several days ago, police received a report of an incident near Mitzpeh Yair in the Hebron Hills. Officers from the Hebron station in the Judea district responded and opened an investigation, which revealed that one of those involved in the incident was an anti-Israel activist and among the founders of the MAC student organization, whose stated aims include activity against Israel following the events of October 7.
The investigation also raised suspicion that she supports Addameer, an organization designated as a terror group in 2021.
Following intelligence work by the foreigners desk at the Judea and Samaria District (Shai), police monitored the suspect's social-media posts. Among them, she was documented abroad wearing a shirt bearing an image of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a crosshair-like symbol aimed at his head and body.
Last night, officers from the Hebron station arrested the suspect and brought her in for questioning at the police station. During the interrogation, she made claims against Israel including genocide, and stated that as part of her support for the Addameer terror organization, she had come to Israel to intern with the group "and provide legal assistance to Palestinian prisoners held in concentration camps."
At the conclusion of the investigation, the suspect was jailed. This morning, she was transferred to the Population and Immigration Authority for a hearing ahead of her deportation from Israel and a ban on her future entry.
