Poll: Netanyahu at new low; both blocs drop

Channel 16 survey shows Likud down to 18 seats, lowest yet for the prime minister, while the opposition bloc also sheds mandates in a fragmented Knesset map

Elections

A new Channel 16 poll conducted by Maagar Mochot among more than 2,000 respondents shows Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a new low, with his Likud party dropping to 18 seats, while the opposition bloc also loses altitude in a tight and fragmented political map.

Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! party leads the field with 21 mandates. Likud follows with 18, its lowest showing in recent surveys. Yachad reaches 13 seats, while Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit and Yair Golan's Democrats each take 9.

Further down the map, United Torah Judaism and the Joint List each receive 8 seats. Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu and Shas stand at 7 apiece. Religious Zionism and Zehut take 6 mandates. Ra'am crosses the threshold with 5 seats, as does the Hendel-Halikha economic alliance. Ofer Winter's Amcha Yisrael scrapes through with 4 mandates.

By bloc, the coalition (including Amcha Yisrael) holds 52 seats against 50 for the opposition. The reservists' and economic parties, Hendel-Helikha, take 5 mandates, and the Arab parties stand at 13. The survey was conducted by Maagar Mochot on 13 October 2026, with a statistical margin of error of 2.1 percent.
