Gantz: "I joined the undecided voters"

Hours after announcing he's stepping out of the Knesset race, Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz was asked who he'll vote for in the coming election. His answer leaves hundreds of thousands without a clear direction.

Hours after his dramatic announcement that he is withdrawing from the race for Knesset, Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz is still refusing to take a political side or recommend a specific party within the opposition bloc to his voters.

Asked by Channel 12 News who he intends to vote for in the coming election, Gantz replied: "I joined the undecided voters. I recommend that everyone do their own thinking and vote for whoever doesn't incite the nation."

Gantz's response continues the line he maintained throughout the campaign, in which he emphasised the importance of unity and avoiding divisive rhetoric. His withdrawal was intended to prevent vote loss within the bloc, but his declaration that he remains among "the undecided voters" now leaves hundreds of thousands of centre-left voters without clear guidance from the outgoing faction leader.
