Shlomo Filber, the pollster and former director of the Government Companies Authority, is hitting back at media critics, arguing that the recent wave of attacks on his work reflects genuine fear among the right's opponents of what the ballot box will actually show.
In a post on his X account, Filber explained the background to the criticism directed at Channel 14's polling data and samples in recent days. "Since the days of ancient Greece, we know that when they start shooting the messenger, it's a sign they're afraid of receiving 'bad' news," Filber wrote.
He aimed directly at prominent journalists from competing channels: "Sefi Ovadia, Levinson and their colleagues are in a tantrum to kill the message that Channel 14 may bring regarding the election results."
