Social media figure and star of Kan 11's "HaPashut" Matan Peretz issued a public call to the Israeli public on election day, emphasizing his political independence. "As someone who didn't take money from politicians, even when their agenda matched my values and they tried more than once," Peretz opened, adding a reference to the complex reality: "Election day, after October 7, with a full heart and in good faith, vote for whoever you believe in."

Peretz appealed to the public to maintain restraint and public order the day after the vote, regardless of who wins: "No matter what happens tonight, my dream is that tomorrow we simply accept the election results and live our lives without burning down the country, without blocking roads, and without making life miserable for all the citizens who want to go to work in peace."

According to him, the core of democratic government is accepting the voter's decision: "Whether Bibi is prime minister or Eisenkot is prime minister, basically let's do what they do in a democratic state and accept the results already." He closed his remarks with a wish tinged with concern: "Have a pleasant election day, because maybe tomorrow they'll burn down the country."
