Channel 12 correspondent Zion Nanous addressed the online storm Sunday morning over Halloween celebrations in Tel Aviv, suggesting the criticism was misplaced given the security situation facing Israel.
"Everyone's basically fine with the fact that starting this weekend we're expected to spend time in bomb shelters and safe rooms during another round with Iran, and the children will lose more precious weeks of school," Nanous wrote. "But it's a scandal that before the expected war, a few hundred children in Tel Aviv dared to enjoy a nice neighborhood event in the style of Halloween."
