Trump: "I don't agree with Starmer on Gaza" | WATCH

Trump: Hamas said they are going to put the hostages up as bait and that's pretty brutal.

During a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Chequers (the prime minister's country residence), US President Donald Trump commented on the Israel - Gaza war, specifically calling for the immediate release of hostages held by Hamas. He stated that he wants to see the hostages "released right now."

Trump refused to say if there would be a point where he will tell Netanyahu to stop the fighting. "First I want the hostages back."

Trump said, "We have to remember October 7th, one of the worst most violent days in the history of the world ... - . I have seen the tapes ... People forget about October 7th, I can’t forget about it…”

He also revealed that he had spoken with released hostages "I asked released hostages if they received any humanity from Hamas people, and none of them did," he said. "I was shocked."

The president also stated his disagreements with Starmer on key foreign policy issues, adding, "I do not agree with Starmer on the issue of recognizing a Palestinian state, and on the issue of the war in Gaza ... It's one of the few things we disagree about."

On a completely different subject entirely, he also spoke about why Jimmy Kimmel was fired, saying that it was because of his low ratings and that he is not talented.

Continuing with the stream of consciousness statements, he said, "I like TikTok. It helped get me elected."
