The Final Warning

"We Will Go In and Kill Them": Trump Threatens Hamas Over Internal Killings and Ceasefire Compliance

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a severe ultimatum to Hamas, threatening to unleash renewed military action not only if the terror group fails to comply with the hostage agreement, but also if it continues to execute people in Gaza.

U.S. President Donald Trump significantly escalated his rhetoric against Hamas, using his Truth Social platform to issue a direct and forceful threat regarding the terror group's conduct in Gaza. The President warned that any continued internal executions in the region would be met with an immediate, deadly response.

"If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them," Trump stated in a post on Thursday. This statement refers to reports that Hamas has been targeting and executing individuals suspected of collaborating with Israeli forces following the ceasefire agreement.

The Authority to Resume War

The public threat follows comments Trump made on Wednesday, underscoring his assertiveness in managing the ongoing cessation of hostilities. Speaking in a telephone interview, the President made it clear that he retains the ultimate authority to greenlight the resumption of Israel's military campaign if Hamas fails to uphold its obligations under the ceasefire deal.

When asked by CNN what would happen if Hamas refused to disarm as part of a future agreement, Trump replied with characteristic assertiveness: "Israel will return to those streets as soon as I say the word." He then added a raw assessment of Israeli capabilities and intent: "If Israel could go in and knock the crap of them, they’d do that."

These remarks signal that the window of diplomatic maneuver is closing rapidly. With the return of deceased hostages lagging and reports of Hamas executing alleged collaborators, the President is placing the fate of the ceasefire squarely on the terror group's immediate and full compliance with both the letter and spirit of the agreement.

Leveraging Intelligence: Israel Escalates Pressure on Hamas to Complete Return of Fallen Hostages

Israel is coordinating closely with the United States and intermediary countries to apply maximum pressure on Hamas to ensure the full return of all deceased hostages, a senior political source confirmed this evening. As part of this push, Israel has taken the unusual step of sharing its intelligence with the mediators to aid in the location of the remains.

This move follows a briefing by top advisors to President Donald Trump, including Witkoff and Kushner, who stated that Washington is "doing everything to return all the fallen, we won't leave anyone behind." The U.S. had reportedly asked Israel to provide intelligence to assist in finding the bodies and is considering offering a financial reward for information leading to the location of the remains.

The urgency stems from the fact that Hamas, which claims it has returned all the bodies it could locate, still holds 19 of the deceased hostages. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar addressed the issue publicly, stating that Israel is committed to the Trump plan but has serious concerns. "19 of the deceased hostages are still held by Hamas, and we know for certain that they can easily release a significant number of hostages in accordance with the agreement," Sa'ar declared at the MED conference in Naples, adding sharply, "What they are doing now is a fundamental breach of the agreement."

Playing With Families' Emotions

Sa'ar stressed that Israel expects the mediators and the U.S. to help resolve the issue immediately, emphasizing the emotional toll on the families: "This is very important, because it involves families who have suffered enough for more than two years, playing with their feelings is intolerable."

Concurrently, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a clear message during a restricted discussion this evening: "I know exactly how many deceased individuals Hamas is holding, and if we don't receive them, Israel will know how to act accordingly." Netanyahu is set to convene the security establishment to discuss the ongoing conduct in Gaza and the strategy for locating the remaining bodies.

Despite the strong warnings, Israeli political sources indicate a preference to "exhaust the chances" without immediately employing sanctions, in order to avoid being perceived as the party breaking the agreement. However, a firm message is being delivered to Hamas not to exploit this flexibility.

Meanwhile, senior U.S. advisors have reportedly suggested that the U.S. wants to start the reconstruction of Rafah soon, turning it into a "model area" to demonstrate how the Gaza Strip could function post-Hamas rule. On the issue of the bodies, Trump remarked yesterday that Hamas is still "physically digging" but conceded that it is a "terrible process."
