Ben Shapiro Calls Trump’s Iran Strikes the "Bravest Move" in Modern History

Ben Shapiro has praised the Trump administration’s decision to launch a massive aerial campaign against the Iranian regime. He described the move as a historical turning point, suggesting it could define the 21st century much like the collapse of the Soviet Union defined the 20th.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro has lauded U.S. President Donald Trump's recent military strikes on Iran as "the single bravest foreign policy move in my lifetime," potentially marking a transformative shift in global affairs comparable to the fall of the Soviet Union.

Shapiro's remarks, made during an interview on Fox News' "My View with Lara Trump," come amid heightened U.S.-Iran tensions following a series of American airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities and proxy forces.

In the widely shared clip, circulated by former West Virginia legislator Derrick Evans on X (formerly Twitter), Shapiro emphasized Iran's long-standing threat to the United States and its allies. "Iran has been a threat to the United States for 47 years," Shapiro stated, accusing the regime of killing "hundreds if not thousands of Americans" through its support for terrorism. He highlighted Iran's accelerating nuclear program and its "terror tentacles" extending across the Middle East, describing the current regime as in its "death throes" and acting out of desperation.

Shapiro praised the U.S. military's execution of the strikes, noting that they have "destroyed the top levels of the IRGC" (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). He contrasted Trump's decisive action with potential future administrations, warning against a return to policies under "another Obama or Biden type" that might allow Iran to regroup.
