Candace Owens Claims French Government Ordered Her Assassination

Conservative commentator Candace Owens alleged Friday that French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron have authorized her assassination, claiming a high-ranking French official warned her that a kill team from the elite National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) has been activated and includes one Israeli operative.

In a widely circulated X thread posted early Friday morning, Owens wrote that she was contacted two days earlier by a source she described as “well-placed within the French government apparatus” who provided “concrete proof” of their position. She stated she is going public as a precautionary measure “in the event that something happens.”

Owens further claimed the same source told her that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old charged with the September 10 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, had trained with the French Foreign Legion’s 13th Demi-Brigade in a multi-state operation. She asserted that U.S. leadership is aware of both plots but has remained silent. The allegations also extend to French journalist Xavier Poussard, whom Owens said is similarly targeted.

The Élysée Palace did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

French security sources quoted anonymously by Reuters called the claims “completely unfounded.”

Owens’ accusations come amid an ongoing defamation lawsuit filed against her by Brigitte Macron in Delaware federal court over Owens’ 2025 podcast series alleging the French first lady was born male. Owens has refused to retract the claims and has repeatedly used the lawsuit as evidence of a broader cover-up.

Honestly, it's time Candace either got some serious psychiatric help and stopped offending anyone and everyone or that she took another permanent vacation from her job (but we aren't sure this will help her paranoia).
