It's Israel's Fault...

Conservative firebrand Candace Owens has unleashed a blistering critique of President Donald Trump's dramatic capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, pinning the blame squarely on "Zionists," the CIA, and even Israel's Mossad in what she's calling yet another "hostile takeover" for globalist gains.

Owens, never one to mince words, dropped her bombshell on X just hours after the White House's viral Instagram reel celebrated the raid with Trump's signature F-bomb flair.

"Venezuela has been 'liberated' like Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq were 'liberated'," Owens posted on January 3, 2026, drawing parallels to past U.S. interventions she views as failures.

"The CIA has staged another hostile takeover of a country at the behest of globalist psychopaths. That’s it. That’s what is happening, always, everywhere. Zionists cheer every regime change. There has never been a single regime change that Zionists have not applauded because it means they get to steal land, oil and other resources. Hope this helps."

Not stopping there, Owens doubled down in a follow-up: "“Maduro was trafficking drugs, only the Mossad and the CIA are allowed to do that!”

That's Owens essentially accusing Israeli intelligence and the CIA of being the real narco-kings, while dismissing the official U.S. narrative that Maduro's narco-terrorism indictments justified the snatch-and-grab. She claims that this is part of a bigger conspiracy where "globalist psychopaths" pull the strings, with Zionists as the cheering squad for resource grabs.

Her posts come amid her ongoing pattern of sharp jabs at Israel and what she calls "Zionist" influences in U.S. policy.

This isn't her first rodeo: Back in November 2025, she accused Israel of blackmailing Trump via Epstein ties, and she's repeatedly slammed U.S. foreign policy as a "colony of Israel."

The backlash? Swift and savage. Critics, including some in the pro-Israel camp, blasted Owens for veering into what they call antisemitic territory, a charge she's faced before, from her 2023 AmericaFest appearance to recent spats with figures like Ben Shapiro.

"This is peak conspiracy nonsense," one X user replied, while others defended her as a truth-teller unafraid to "name names." Trumpworld remains divided: While Owens' anti-interventionist vibe echoes some "America First" skeptics like Tucker Carlson, it clashes with the president's hawkish move on Maduro.

Owens' comments add fuel to the growing rift on the right over foreign entanglements. As Trump vows to "run" Venezuela's oil fields temporarily, voices like hers pretend it's just another setup for endless wars and resource heists.
