"Trump" the Buffalo Faces Grim Fate at Upcoming Eid Festival
A rare 700-kilogram albino buffalo in Bangladesh, famous for its striking resemblance to the US president's hairstyle, has been sold for ritual slaughter.

A rare albino buffalo with exceptionally light fur that became a local celebrity in Bangladesh is set to be slaughtered for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
The animal earned the nickname "Donald Trump" due to a striking tuft of light hair on its forehead that resembles the distinct hairstyle of the American president.
Weighing nearly 700 kilograms, the buffalo was raised on a farm in the Narayanganj district near the capital city of Dhaka. It became a major attraction, drawing crowds of visitors from across the country who wished to take photos with the animal after it went viral on social media.
According to the farm owner, Ziauddin Mirda, his family chose the name because of the animal's prominent hair. He described the buffalo as a calm and gentle creature that required specialized care, including multiple baths a day and a rigorous feeding schedule. The popular buffalo was ultimately sold to a buyer to be sacrificed as part of the traditional Eid al-Adha holiday rituals.
