"Number One in the World": Elon Musk Crowns Israel as the Global Leader in Innovation
Tech billionaire Elon Musk told a major international transport summit in Tel Aviv that autonomous systems will control ninety percent of global vehicles within a decade, though local regulators unexpectedly withheld official approvals for Tesla's self-driving software.

The Samson International Smart Mobility Summit in Tel Aviv became the center of global tech attention after Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk delivered a sweeping vision of the future. Speaking directly from his home in Texas to the audience at Expo Tel Aviv, Musk praised local technological capabilities.
He stated clearly that he is a big admirer of the entrepreneurship coming out of the country, noting that Israel achieves incredible results relative to its population size. Musk went even further during the broadcast, declaring that the nation is definitely number one in the world, adding that he takes his hat off to Israel for the innovation being produced.
Despite the high profile praise from the world's richest man, the event itself was heavily overshadowed by the ongoing war against the Iranian regime. Attendance from international automotive executives and foreign tech giants was almost entirely wiped out compared to previous years due to security concerns.
Furthermore, Minister of Transportation Miri Regev unexpectedly withheld a highly anticipated announcement regarding official regulatory approval for Tesla's Full Self Driving software. Musk explicitly noted that he looks forward to visiting Israel again soon, expressing hope that Tesla's autonomous software will be approved so local drivers can experience it firsthand.
The tech billionaire also focused heavily on the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence, predicting that within ten years, roughly ninety percent of all vehicles on earth will be controlled by AI systems rather than human drivers. He explained that the vehicle will drive you, not the other way around, emphasizing that Tesla's software relies entirely on neural networks and cameras to mimic human visual processing.
Musk concluded his presentation by outlining his ultimate dream for global advancement, wishing for a future where everyone has access to an extraordinary medical system, where diseases are cured, and where no one goes hungry. He stated that he dreams of a world without conflict and global war, where technology serves the entirety of humanity rather than a select few.
