Greta Thunberg Arrested for Supporting Palestine Action in London

Is Greta Thunberg really that bored or is she just desperate to remain relevant?

Greta Thunberg has been busy. Last night, she shut down Piccadilly Circus in London, just days before Christmas.

Today, she was arrested in central London today, during a protest supporting Palestine Action hunger strikers.

The City of London Police detained her under Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 for displaying a placard reading "I support the Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide," which they deemed as showing support for a proscribed organization (Palestine Action).

The demonstration targeted the offices of Aspen Insurance on Fenchurch Street, accused by protesters of providing services to Israeli-linked defense firm Elbit Systems.

Videos from the scene show Thunberg being led away by officers after holding the sign; two other activists were arrested earlier for criminal damage after spraying red paint on the building and gluing themselves nearby.

This marks another arrest for Thunberg, who has shifted focus from climate activism to pro-Palestinian causes in recent years, including ridiculous and pointless flotillas, which make us wish she just got a job or a Netflix subscription.
