Iranian Regime Supporters in Varamin Pool Gold Jewelry for Bounty on Trump or Netanyahu

Hardline regime supporters in the city of Varamin, southeast of Tehran, are reportedly collecting gold jewelry and donations to fund a bounty for the assassination of either U.S. President Donald Trump or Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to circulating reports and videos from Iranian opposition channels and social media, local organizers have launched a campaign encouraging citizens to contribute gold to increase the reward. They claim the bounty could eventually reach up to 1,000 kilograms (over 2,200 pounds) of pure gold if enough people across Iran participate

.One organizer was quoted saying the goal is to “send a message” and “reward whoever carries out the operation.”

The campaign appears to be driven by hardline Islamist groups loyal to the Islamic Republic.

It comes amid heightened tensions following recent Israeli strikes on Iran and ongoing proxy conflicts.

No official confirmation from the Iranian government has been issued, and such bounties are often more symbolic than operational.

This type of rhetoric is not new — Iranian officials and affiliated groups have previously offered large rewards for actions against Israeli or American leaders. However, the public collection of gold jewelry is a notable grassroots escalation.

The story is still developing, with limited mainstream verification so far. Israeli and U.S. security officials are likely monitoring such threats closely.
