Following President Trump's announcement on social media and to local networks that the United States would respond forcefully to overnight Iranian missile launches—and his suggestion that the Iranian regime's collapse was imminent—Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued its own threats.
After Iran and the United States exchanged military strikes last night, ending nearly a month of relative calm between the two sides, tensions continue to escalate both militarily and rhetorically.
In response to President Trump's warnings of a strong response to the Iranian launches, senior Revolutionary Guards commanders quickly issued counter-threats of their own. "Any attack on Iran will bring a response tens of times stronger," a senior official in the organization declared.
Another high-ranking commander added: "There is no target in the region beyond Iran's reach. We have proven this in the past and will prove it again if necessary."
