Chilling warning

U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee: "Iran is a Real Threat to the U.S."

U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee issues a chilling warning: Iranian "sleeper cells" and Hezbollah operatives may already be on U.S. soil. As tensions soar, Huckabee argues that Tehran's 47-year "Death to America" mission is no longer a distant threat but a global danger lurking in the Western Hemisphere.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee issued a stark warning on Saturday, telling a press gathering that the threat from the Iranian regime has extended far beyond the borders of Israel and now poses a direct, physical danger to the American heartland.

Drawing a sharp contrast between the mindset in Washington and Jerusalem, Huckabee praised the "amazing resilience" of the Israeli people but lamented what he described as a dangerous lack of awareness among the American public regarding Tehran’s long-term objectives.

"I don't sense that there is this panic going on [in Israel]," Huckabee said. "The Israelis have come to know that they live in a very dangerous place... I wish Americans understood that. I wish Americans understood that the Iranians want to kill them."

The Ambassador’s most pointed comments focused on the potential for domestic terror. Huckabee suggested that years of "open border" policies under the previous administration may have allowed Iranian-backed operatives, specifically from the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, to infiltrate the United States.

"What we don’t fully understand is how many Iranian operatives... got into our country," Huckabee warned. "How many of them are sleeper cells just standing by, waiting on an order from Tehran to unleash holy hell against Americans? We simply don’t know."

Huckabee explained that the threat is not theoretical, pointing to Hezbollah’s established presence in Central and South America. According to the Ambassador, the group is active in 12 countries within the Western Hemisphere, utilizing the region as a base for operations rather than mere criminal activity.

"They’re not there because they want to go to Brazil’s carnival," he remarked bluntly. "They are a global threat, not just a local threat."

The Ambassador reminded the public that the "Death to America" slogans heard in Tehran for nearly half a century are not mere rhetoric. He noted that the development of long-range ballistic missiles by Iran is a clear indicator of their intent to "light that thing up and send it straight to the United States."

The comments come at a moment of extreme tension, as President Trump’s "armada" remains positioned in the Middle East after indirect negotiations in Oman. Huckabee’s warning serves as a firm reminder from the administration that the "Maximum Pressure" campaign is driven as much by U.S. homeland security as it is by regional alliance.
