The Trump administration is offering a reward of up to $20 million for information about Iran’s nuclear program, along with possible relocation for those who come forward.
The offer, announced Friday through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program and publicized by U.S. Central Command, seeks information on Iran’s nuclear facilities, equipment and associated personnel, including members of the scientific community, as well as their movements. Tips can be submitted through the program’s secure channels, including Signal and a Tor-based tip line.
The announcement comes as the United States and Iran conduct indirect contacts in an effort to reach an agreement, and as Trump weighs whether to resume military strikes.
The offer was announced on the same day Trump confirmed what he called “minor” U.S. strikes on Iranian air defenses, the first against Iran since the midterm elections.
