Only two months before the horriifc Bondi massacre, Albo knew exactly what he was wearing, that's why he asked not to be recorded wearing it. Now he pretends to feel solidarity with Australian Jews. As if anyone belives him.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is facing renewed outrage after a video from October resurfaced showing him wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the name "Joy Division," a term with chilling roots in Nazi concentration camps where Jewish women were forced into sexual slavery during the Holocaust.

The footage, captured as Albanese disembarked from a VIP flight following meetings in Washington, shows him requesting media not to film him, a move critics say indicates his awareness of the shirt's controversial implications.

The band's name, chosen in 1978, directly references "Freudenabteilung" or "joy divisions," the euphemism for brothels in camps like Auschwitz, as detailed in survivor Ka-Tzetnik 135633's 1955 novel "House of Dolls."Jewish community leaders and opposition figures have condemned the choice as insensitive, especially amid Australia's surge in antisemitic incidents post-Oct. 7, 2023. Sussan Ley, deputy opposition leader, called it a "failure of judgment," urging an apology.

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry echoed this, stating it "trivializes the suffering of Holocaust victims."Albanese's office dismissed the backlash as "politically motivated," insisting the shirt was mere band merchandise with no ill intent. However, reports reveal Albanese was informed of the Nazi connection during a 2022 podcast, where he asked that segment remain unpublished—further fueling accusations of deliberate disregard. This incident compounds criticisms of Albanese's handling of antisemitism, highlighted by the recent Bondi Beach terror attack on Dec. 14, where 16 were killed and 42 wounded at a Hanukkah event. While Albanese condemned the assault, detractors point to his government's perceived leniency on anti-Israel protests and hate speech.

And here's the scathing truth: Albanese's Joy Division stunt isn't just tone-deaf, it's a damning indictment of his hypocrisy. For years, he's done zilch to curb Australia's festering antisemitism, allowing "gas the Jews" chants at rallies to go unchecked and dragging feet on hate speech reforms. Now, post-Bondi massacre, he postures as a defender of Jews, issuing platitudes while his wardrobe choices scream indifference to their historical pain. It's not leadership; it's a cynical pivot, pretending solidarity after the blood's been spilled. No one is fooled.
