Thousands of protesters gathered in New York City's Foley Square, chanting "Kristi Noem will hang" in response to the fatal shooting of a U.S. citizen by an ICE agent.
The incident occurred in Minneapolis, where Renee Nicole Good, a 32-year-old U.S. citizen, was shot and killed by an ICE agent during an attempt to serve a warrant. Authorities claim Good tried to drive into the agents, prompting the agent to fire in self-defense.
Video from the NYC protest captures the crowd also chanting "Save a life, kill ICE" and "Abolish ICE," directing ire at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
