A large tree fell during Saturday evening’s storm (June 6, 2026), snapping an electrical pole in half and bringing down utility wires on Francis Place.

The incident has closed Francis Place between Nancy Lane and Ronald Drive. Ramapo Police and the Monsey Fire Department responded to the scene and remain on site.

More than 100 Orange & Rockland Utilities (O&R) customers in the area are without power. Early Sunday morning, O&R estimated restoration by 7:00 a.m., but the timeline may be extended depending on the extent of the damage. instagram.com
