US Central Command (CENTCOM) has officially confirmed that three American service members were killed in action during the ongoing joint US-Israel military operation against Iran, dubbed "Operation Epic Fury."

Additionally, five others have been seriously wounded, with several more sustaining minor injuries such as shrapnel wounds and concussions, though they are expected to return to duty.

The update from CENTCOM, issued recently, emphasizes that major combat operations continue and the situation remains fluid.

Out of respect for the families, details including the identities of the fallen will be withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin notifications.
