Ukraine Attacks: "Netanyahu Spoke to the Head of the Snake"

Ukraine's ambassador to Israel responded to the conversation between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying that "this is a conversation between the head of a democratic country and the head of the snake, which is a clear and tangible danger to the entire free world."

Ukraine's ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk responded today (Monday) to the conversation between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin, attacking the Russian president's words and his stance against the war in Gaza. In his words, he called on Israel to cooperate with Ukraine against Russia.

"It is important to clarify - when the Prime Minister of Israel talks to the President of Russia, it is a conversation between the head of a democratic country and the head of the snake that is a clear and tangible danger to the entire free world," Korniychuk said. "The hypocrisy in Putin's words is terrible - he dares to preach to Netanyahu about the 'catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip' and states that 'it is important that dealing with terrorism does not lead to such serious consequences for the civilian population', this after he himself led a genocide against innocent Ukrainian citizens.

"Israel and Ukraine are now at the forefront of the free world war against the axis of evil led by Russia and Iran," added the Ukrainian ambassador. "We call on the government of Israel to cooperate more closely with Ukraine, to fight this terrorist alliance together."

As mentioned, Netanyahu and Putin talked last night for about 50 minutes, during which Netanyahu expressed his displeasure with the positions expressed by Russian representatives at the UN and other forums against Israel. It was also said that Netanyahu expressed strong criticism of the dangerous cooperation between Russia and Iran, as he said, "Any country that would suffer a criminal terrorist attack like the one experienced by Israel would act with no less force than the one in which Israel operates."

At the same time, the Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the Russian effort to free Roni Kariboy, an Israeli citizen with Russian citizenship, from Hamas captivity last week. Netanyahu made it clear to Putin that Israel "will use all means, both political and military, to free all our abductees." In addition, Netanyahu requested that Russia put pressure on the Red Cross in favor of visits and medicine for the abductees who remain in the captivity of Hamas.
