The accused is the head of the "Deranged Murder Cult," an international and racist group. Allegedly, the neo-Nazi leader planned to poison Jewish children in New York, as detailed in an indictment filed against Mikhail Shchekushevili last night (Tuesday to Wednesday) in the United States. Shchekushevili, 21, allegedly crafted a plan for the organization to distribute poisoned candies to children outside Jewish schools in Brooklyn, using the guise of Santa Claus for distribution.

Shchekushevili, leader of the "Deranged Murder Cult," advocates neo-Nazi ideology and supports violence against Jews and other minorities. According to the lawsuit, the group originated in Russia and Ukraine, with members in the United States and other nations. Shchekushevili, a citizen of Georgia, was apprehended in Moldova following an international arrest warrant.

According to a report on the Forward website, the neo-Nazi leader visited Brooklyn in 2022, where he worked for a Jewish family and cared for one of their members. "They pay me to handle a groaning Jew. I think I almost killed him that day. If he dies, I record it for my benefit," he wrote to another neo-Nazi group leader, as per the indictment against him. During his stay in the United States, Shchekushevili allegedly tried to recruit an undercover FBI agent posing as a prospective member of the group. In conversations with the agent, Shchekushevili purportedly attempted to persuade him to carry out violent acts against minorities, including murder.

"The defendant sought to recruit others to commit killings and violent attacks in accordance with his neo-Nazi ideology," the indictment stated. "His objective was to spread hatred, fear, and destruction by encouraging bombings, arson, and poisoning of children to harm minority groups, the Jewish community, and the homeless."

In a document penned by Shchekushevili, referred to as "The Hater's Guide," he outlined the group's doctrines and advocated for ethnic cleansing and terrorist activities in the United States. "I have killed for the white race and am prepared to sow further chaos in this corrupt world." If convicted, Shchekushevili could potentially face decades in prison.
