A fire broke out today at the cooling tower area of a power plant in western Tehran, according to Iranian state media.The incident occurred at the Alstom Sattarkhan power plant on Sattarkhan Street. Videos shared by Iranian media and OSINT accounts show thick smoke rising from the facility.
Iranian officials stated that the blaze has been brought under control, with firefighting operations ongoing. No injuries or fatalities have been reported so far.
