During the call, Colombian Defense Minister Jorge Mora expressed deep appreciation for the Israeli delegation, speaking warmly about the commitment demonstrated by the mission's personnel and the strong bond developing between Israel and Colombia. Israeli Home Front Command forces are currently engaged in intensive relief efforts following the earthquake, which measured 7.4 on the Richter scale and caused extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure throughout the affected region. According to IDF sources, the Israeli delegation is providing Colombia with expertise and technological tools for managing situational assessments and data analysis, helping establish response priorities and supporting decision-making processes.
