The Jamaran reportedly deployed a maritime suicide drone (USV) toward a U.S. carrier strike group operating near the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. forces responded immediately with "heavy naval weaponry" - likely a combination of anti-ship missiles and carrier-based aircraftm, delivering a catastrophic blow to the Iranian vessel.

The *Jamaran* sustained severe structural damage and began sinking into the depths of the Gulf of Oman.

Preliminary reports indicate that the ship was manned by a crew of over 80 Iranian naval personnel. Due to the speed of the sinking and the intensity of the fire on board, sources suggest there are no survivors.

"The Iranian Jamaran-class vessel was engaged by U.S. forces and is currently sinking to the bottom of the Gulf of Oman," CENTCOM stated. "As the President previously announced, Iranian forces must lay down their arms and surrender, or they will be shown no mercy."

The Jamaran was the flagship of the Iranian Navy’s domestically built fleet and a symbol of their maritime reach. Its destruction marks the most significant naval defeat for the Islamic Republic in decades and signals that the U.S. is now actively neutralizing any Iranian assets attempting to disrupt international shipping or target Allied forces.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a high-risk zone as U.S. and Israeli forces continue to degrade Iran's "Mosquito Fleet" and larger surface combatants.
