13 U.S. Soldiers Killed, Nearly 370 Injured in U.S.-Iran War
The Pentagon confirms 13 American soldiers killed and 370 wounded during the bloody 40-day conflict with Iran. As the true cost of Operation Epic Fury emerges, The Washington Post reveals the devastating toll of Iranian missile strikes and frontline casualties.

The Pentagon has confirmed that 13 American soldiers were killed and approximately 370 were injured during the recent U.S.-Iran conflict, according to a new report by The Washington Post.
The casualty figures, released in the past 48 hours, cover the entire duration of Operation Epic Fury, from the initial strikes in late February through the ceasefire announced on April 7–8. At least 12 of the wounded remain in critical or serious condition.
The deaths include both combat losses from Iranian missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, as well as non-combat incidents such as the KC-135 refueling aircraft crash in western Iraq.
U.S. officials described the overall toll as relatively low given the scale of the fighting, but the numbers have drawn renewed attention as the fragile truce with Iran holds and questions mount about the long-term cost of the operation.
