A high-stakes diplomatic feud exploded on social media today as former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett launched a blistering verbal assault on American commentator Tucker Carlson, branding him a “chickens%^t” and a “phony” following a bizarre, hours-long visit to Ben Gurion Airport.

The conflict erupted after Carlson claimed he was “detained and interrogated” by Israeli security following a high-profile interview with U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee. Israeli officials and the U.S. Embassy have since moved swiftly to debunk those claims, characterizing the encounter as routine security questioning.

The “Airport Warzone”

Bennett did not hold back in a scathing post on X, accusing Carlson of staging a “fake” visit to bolster his credentials while avoiding the reality of the country.

“The guy who’s been spouting lies about Israel for the past two years, landed today at Ben Gurion Airport, took a quick picture in the logistics zone, tweeted it to pretend he’s actually IN Israel... didn’t even step foot in country,” Bennett wrote.

According to Bennett and Israeli airport authorities, Carlson never left the airport complex, conducting his interview with Ambassador Huckabee inside a VIP lounge before boarding a private jet and departing only a few hours later.
