"Money Comes Before Everything": Eitan Langer Breaks His Silence from a Colombian Prison
The story of Eitan Langer, the Israeli citizen held in a Medellín prison, who suffered multiple poisoning attempts, takes a dark turn as Langer himself speaks out. In an exclusive testimony, he alleges a conspiracy involving Israeli officials, local criminal elements, and a web of corruption designed to keep him behind bars.

We have followed Eitan Langer’s harrowing journey through several reports. We documented how his previous lawyers allegedly embezzled his funds and sabotaged his legal proceedings. We highlighted the persistent and seemingly intentional negligence of the Israeli Consulate, led by Hili Gal-Or and her staff, who reportedly helped select a lawyer who later threatened journalists, blocked communication with Eitan, and provided false information. We also detailed the severe harassment from the prison director, Andrea Perdomo.
Now, it is time to hear directly from Eitan.
We have gained access to a man who suffered multiple poisoning attempts, and nearly a year of anti-semetic abuse in one of the most dangerous prison environments in the world.
Allegations of a Shadow Alliance
According to Langer, an intelligence officer within the Israeli Embassy has allegedly collaborated with a high-ranking figure in the Israeli criminal underworld in Bogotá to ensure he remains in custody.
Langer describes incidents within the Israeli Consulate in Bogotá where this internationally known influential figure reportedly received "warm and favorable treatment" from a senior official.
This individual has allegedly established contact with Langer’s lawyers and maintains a network of informants inside the prison to monitor his every move.
When asked if there is further evidence to support these claims, Langer points to the sheer absurdity of his situation. "There is no other way to explain the systematic abuse I am facing here, on multiple levels", he explains.
"In Colombia, money comes before everything else. People are willing to do anything for the right price. There are no moral boundaries. No belief in God. Which is how they were able to bribe the very lawyers who were supposed to be on my side."
The "Chickenpox" Excuse
The Israeli Embassy has not provided a response to these allegations.
Meanwhile, the prison administration in Medellín (El Pedregal) issued a statement claiming that all prisoner transfers are suspended until April 8th due to an outbreak of chickenpox. However, JFeed has learned that other prisoners have, in fact, been released during this period to attend their respective court hearings. This discrepancy raises further questions about the real motives behind preventing Langer from appearing before a judge.
