Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Ali Abdollahi warned Israel that opening a third conflict through "miscalculation" would trigger a harsher Iranian response than previous confrontations, according to reports from open-source intelligence monitors tracking Iranian state media.
Abdollahi stated Tehran is prepared for threats "of any kind and at any level," and cautioned Washington that any military action against Iran, before or after congressional elections, would receive an immediate, powerful response against American interests without limitation. He also warned regional states hosting US forces that "if a new war breaks out against Iran, its fire will sweep up everyone." The remarks signal Tehran's effort to deter potential strikes as regional tensions remain elevated following previous warnings of imminent US operations.
