Two men have been pronounced dead following the crash of a light aircraft in the Jezreel Valley on Sunday morning. Emek Medical Center confirmed their deaths hours were evacuated from the crash site in critical condition.
"The two individuals were brought to the medical center without vital signs while undergoing resuscitation attempts," hospital officials stated. "To our deep regret, we were compelled to pronounce their deaths."
The aircraft went down in open terrain adjacent to Tel Adashim in the Jezreel Valley during the morning hours. Magen David Adom paramedics and emergency medical technicians who rushed to the scene discovered both victims in critical condition near the wreckage.
MDA paramedic Maor Atdagi, who responded with the motorcycle unit, described arriving at a devastating scene. "This was a severe incident. We reached the location with ambulances, intensive care units, and immediate response motorcycles," he recounted. "They guided us through the terrain to the crashed aircraft. The plane had sustained serious structural damage, and nearby lay two men, unconscious, without pulse or respiration."
Emergency teams immediately initiated advanced resuscitation protocols at the crash site before evacuating both victims via intensive care ambulances to Emek Medical Center. Despite the sustained efforts of medical personnel both in the field and at the hospital, their injuries proved fatal.
The circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation by aviation authorities.
