Gallant to the heads of councils: I appreciate your support

After the series of attacks in Judea and Samaria, Minister of Defense Gallant met with the heads of the authorities and stated, "I greatly appreciate the unequivocal support you provide to the security forces, this is of crucial importance in the eyes of the residents and the soldiers"

After a series of attacks in which three Israelis were killed in three days, Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant arrived today at the Central Command base in Jerusalem. He conducted a situation assessment with the Central Command General and senior members of the security system, and later held a meeting with the heads of the authorities in Judea and Samaria.

In the situation assessment, attended by Deputy Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Amir Baram, Central Command Chief General Yehuda Fox, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Major General Rasan Alian, Civil Administration Head Sub-Lieutenant General Fares Attila, and senior officer in the Central Command, the Minister of Defense was briefed on the details of the ongoing pursuit after the perpetrator of the attack in Hawara. Emphasis was placed on intensifying efforts to seize weapons throughout Judea and Samaria. Gallant discussed the reinforcement of forces to protect the roads and settlements, underlining the importance of dismantling the terrorist cells responsible for the attacks.

I appreciate your support

In his meeting with the heads of the authorities, the Minister of Defense expressed his appreciation for the unequivocal support provided to the security forces. Minister Gallant stated that this support holds crucial significance in his view, both for the residents and the soldiers.

Minister Gallant expressed his commitment to strengthening the settlements and presented to the heads of the councils the steps currently being taken at the Ministry of Defense, including enhancing security components, improving infrastructure and roads, easing the passage at crossings, and providing protection for student transportation vehicles.
