A suspected Palestinian terrorist from Tulkarm was captured Wednesday in Ra’anana, thwarting what police say could have been a deadly attack inside Israel.
According to police, officers from the Sharon Precinct and Yasam special forces launched an urgent search after receiving intelligence that the man was preparing to carry out a terror strike.
Over the course of several tense hours, security forces swept the area, deploying advanced technological tools to track the suspect’s movements.
The man was finally located at a construction site in Ra’anana, where he was swiftly apprehended. He was taken into custody for interrogation, and police are investigating the scope of his alleged plot.
