The Republican Debate

Haley attacked her rival: "You don't act like that to friends"

During the televised debate of the Republican Party, Nikki Haley attacked Ramaswamy for his attitude towards the State of Israel: "You wanted to stop the aid". Trump was absent and sent a sting: "The public knows I was an excellent president"

The primaries for the Republican Party: During the televised debate last night in Milwaukee (between Wednesday and Thursday) between the Republican Party presidential candidates, former UN Ambassador and party presidential candidate Nikki Haley attacked her opponent Vivek Ramaswamy for his previous call for the end of aid to Israel.

"You wanted to stop aid to Israel, you don't treat your friends like that," Haley said, pointing out to him that he had no experience in foreign policy. "One can see it." Ramaswamy, who heard the words, emphasized to Haley that this is about friendship between the two countries and that Israel is not a protectorate of the USA. According to him, "Friends help each other to get back on their feet. I will lead to the expansion of the Abraham Accords and prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons. What I like about Israel is their border policy and that they have an Iron Dome and a national identity. I want to learn from them."

Except for the two, 6 other candidates participated in the debate, including DeSantis, who now ranks second in the chances of success, former Vice President Mike Pence, Tim Christie (former Governor of New Jersey), Senator Tim Scott, Governor of North Dakota Doug Bergum and outgoing Governor of Arkansas Asa Hutchinson.

Trump: "Candidates with low chances"

Former President Donald Trump was conspicuous by his absence, who excused his absence by claiming that the public knew him and knew he was an excellent president. According to him, he does not consider it appropriate to participate in a debate where he will be pelted with attacks from candidates with low chances.

In the context of the former president, the candidates were asked whether they would support him in the case of a conviction against him even if he had won the primaries, in response most of the candidates presented unanimously, with the exception of Hutchinson and Christie who used to be Trump supporters.
