The police said: A short time ago, the police received a report of the stabbing of a security guard at the light rail station in the Givat HaMivtar area of Jerusalem. The suspect in the act was neutralized by shooting, and large police forces of the Jerusalem district under the command of the commander of the Jerusalem district on the spot."
Following the attack, the light rail traffic was stopped and it operates between Pisgat Ze'ev and Ammunition Hill and between Ammunition Hill and Mount Herzl.
