The Israel Defense Forces' Persian-language X account has issued a message to the Iranian public, calling on citizens to collaborate with the Mossad, while claiming that even members of Iran’s own security apparatus are secretly pleading with Israel.

“We understand you’re in a difficult situation, under pressure from your regime,” the message read. “In recent days, we’ve received messages from those close to us who fear an uncertain future.”

The statement alleged that Iranian security officials have reached out to Israel to avoid becoming ‘the next Gaza or Lebanon.’ The IDF clarified: “We are not the address for such requests, contact Mossad directly.”

A secure link to Mossad was attached, along with a warning to use encrypted channels (VPN).

This comes as paranoia within Iran reaches new levels. Iranian authorities have arrested dozens of citizens on suspicion of espionage or “psychological sabotage,” accusing them of supporting Israel online or spreading dissent.

Just in Tehran, 28 people have been arrested for alleged cooperation with Israeli intelligence. In Esfahan, where a nuclear facility was reportedly targeted, 60 individuals were detained.

One detainee, arrested two years ago, was publicly executed earlier this week, in what observers believe was meant as a warning to potential collaborators.

Meanwhile, state-affiliated news agencies in Iran have published guidelines instructing civilians how to spot “Mossad agents,” warning especially of people wearing masks, sunglasses at night, or frequently receiving package deliveries.

Adding to the pressure, Mossad-linked operations have allegedly struck deep inside Iran. According to Israeli sources, a drone launch base was established inside Iran, and used to strike missile launchers near Tehran. Smuggled precision weapons were reportedly used to neutralize air defense systems, clearing the way for over 100 Israeli airstrikes involving more than 200 aircraft during the early hours of last Friday.

Iranian authorities claim to have recovered 200 kilograms of explosives, multiple suicide drones, launchers, and drone components in the city of Rey, near Tehran, allegedly linked to the Israeli operation.

In response to Iranian claims that they struck a Mossad building in a missile attack, the Mossad mockingly tweeted: “Iran says it hit a Mossad building in a missile strike. Fortunately, no one was there… because everyone’s in Iran.”
