The leader of the Hezbollah parliamentary bloc in Lebanon, MP Mohammad Raad, said that "the resistance is escalating its operations against the Israeli enemy to a certain level in order to preserve the deterrence equation."

The IDF continued to strike Hezbollah targets earlier today throughout southern Lebanon.

The IDF struck a chain of compounds used by Hezbollah's Aeriel Defense Array against Israeli aircraft in southern Lebanon.

Several drone alerts have sounded over the day in the north.

Arab sources report the death of two Hezbollah members in an air strike around Kafr Kanna in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah fired several dozen rockets at the Meron area a few hours ago. No casualties have been reported.

An IAF strike killed senior Hezbollah commander Hossein Ibrahim Makhi. Makhi was responsible for planning and carrying out numerous terrorist attacks against Israel.

The missile was part of a Hezbollah salvo launched during Independence Day.

The IDF reported that the balloon was hit by the projectiles fired this morning at the western Galilee.

The IDF struck a number of military structures and infrastructures in southern Lebanon and killed a Hezbollah terrorist.

Lapid wrote this morning on his Twitter account: "Independence Day will not be complete if the Israeli government does not announce that on September 1 the residents of the North are returning to their homes."

In the videos distributed by the terrorist organization, it is claimed that drones that infiltrated Israel identified the battery during launches towards Kiryat Shmona. 

The missiles, which hit the Yiftah area, lightly wounded three soldiers and moderately wounded another.

Hezbollah will reportedly launch more UAVs from hiding places close to the border area and try to infiltrate Israel with the goal of acquiring data on key targets.

Meanwhile, the IDF's planes and anti-aircraft soldiers intercepted two hostile craft entering Israel from Lebanon.

IDF planes also struck military structures in Khiam, Odaisseh, Blida, Maroun al-Ras, and Ayta ash-Shab.
