For the upcoming Sukkot holiday, (KKL) will distribute free Sukkah roofing (S'chach) to the public. The distribution will take place in the northern forests of Segev, Carmel Beach, and Ben Shemen Forest in the central region. This is a long-standing tradition aimed at assisting residents in building their Sukkahs. Additionally, it aims to prevent the unauthorized cutting of S'chach, which can harm the environment.

"As every year, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael participates in the joy of the Sukkot holiday and distributes Sukkah roofing to the public in honor of the holiday," stated Yaron Ochayon, Head of Land Development at KKL. "You are all invited to the distribution points in the northern Segev Forest and Ben Shemen Forest in the central region to receive free Sukkah roofing. This way, we can celebrate the holiday in a kosher manner, preserve the environment, and prevent unauthorized tree cutting in the forests."

Sukkah roofing will be distributed in the Segev Forest parking lot in the north on the dates of September 25-27, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Sukkah roofing made of Washingtonia palms will be distributed in the Carmel Beach Forest between September 25-27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In the Ben Shemen Forest in the center, Sukkah roofing distribution will take place between September 27-28, from 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM or until the supply runs out. The distribution area will be near the youth parking lot, and signs and directions to the site will be posted from Modi'in lookout on Highway 443.
