God Is Happy. Why Aren’t You? | WATCH

Many envision G-d as stern and distant, but Torah reveals a different truth: G-d rejoices in His creations and wants us to do the same. 

Most people picture G-d as angry, strict, distant.

But Torah says:

“Yismach Hashem b’ma’asav” — G-d rejoices in His creations.

“Chelek Hashem Amo” — His portion is YOU.

And the Rambam says: The goal is to go in His ways. That means… be happy.

Ready for more?

Not wild, fake-happy.

Not ecstatic for 5 seconds and then back to stress.

Real simcha: feeling you’re growing, living with purpose, becoming who you’re meant to be.

Because the biggest punishment in the Torah isn’t for sin —

It’s for serving Hashem without joy.

So if you want to walk in G-d’s ways, start with this:

Train yourself to be deeply, consistently happy.

That’s the real avodah.
