The antisemitic libels regarding Jewish control are dangerous to military morale and the integrity of the armed forces. The reason is quite simple: these claims suggest that the bond of trust between the commander and the forces in the field is not absolute.
It implies that the essential trust between the two is not the product of objective relationships, but rather a facade; that subordinates are not truly subordinates of the military hierarchy, nor is the military truly subordinate to the President.
Instead, the narrative posits that there are "puppet masters" pulling strings above the President, and that the soldier in the field is executing an order that does not truly originate from the Commander-in-Chief. This essentially dismantles the entire chain of command and, with it, the core of the military structure.
The allegation that the military is managed by the interests of the State of Israel significantly mirrors the Dreyfus Affair. In that instance, it was argued that a Jewish officer in the French army was actually serving foreign interests.
The perception that "foreign Jewish interests" had infiltrated the French military was precisely what drove Theodor Herzl to realize the necessity of establishing a force immune to such accusations, a sovereign Zionist force.

Undoubtedly, this blood libel persists regarding contemporary conflicts in the Middle East, where it is claimed that Jews were responsible for the outbreak of war. This is tied to an even older antisemitic stereotype: that Jews are the architects of all wars.
The logic follows that because Jews are purportedly not part of the warring nations throughout history, they gain a strategic advantage when other nations clash and weaken one another, thereby allowing the Jews to strengthen themselves.
This narrative does more than just cause demoralization; it has the potential to incite mass military mutiny. Logically, the moment a soldier feels they are beholden to someone other than their commander, the necessity to obey orders vanishes.
