Warnings Ignored, Questions Raised
Did IDF Officers Knowingly Allow October 7 to Happen?
Was there complicity within the IDF? If the IDF knew about Hamas' "Jericho Wall" and "a non-commissioned officer in AMAN’s 8200 SIGINT unit warned that a recent exercise by the group “closely followed the Jericho Wall plan, and that Hamas was building the capacity to carry it out,” why did IDF officers dismiss this? Was this a "failure" or did some IDF officers deliberatly looked the other way?

On March 19, 2025 the Gateway Pundit reported "Speaking with Benny Johnson, Rep. Luna suggested that the newly released JFK files revealed the former president was actively seeking Russia’s help in identifying rogue CIA agents just before he was murdered in Dallas. Rep. Luna also made it clear that these revelations confirm what many Americans have long suspected: the Warren Commission’s findings were a carefully orchestrated deception designed to protect those truly responsible."
Released JFK files revealed that "the Warren Commission’s findings were a carefully orchestrated deception designed to protect those truly responsible." Is there something simmilar happening in Israel to protect those responsible for October 7?
On December 11, 2025 Arutz 7 reported "Netanyahu: Former officials attempting to influence October 7 investigation'... In a social media post, PM Netanyahu accused former senior officials of attempting to "distort facts" in order to influence the investigation into the October 7th massacre.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed former senior officials, accusing them of attempting to "distort facts" and influence the investigation into the failures of the October 7th massacre. In a post on social media, Netanyahu wrote: "In recent days, we have witnessed an organized pressure campaign by former senior officials who are trying to distort the facts and dictate to the government how to act. These officials allowed anarchy to infiltrate state systems and harmed the cohesion of the IDF and security forces by promoting refusal. Today, they are trying to influence the nature of the investigation that will examine the failures they led to in the October 7th disaster."
On December 14, 2025 Arutz 7 reported "On the 800th day since the massacre carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023, in southern Israel, approximately 200 former hostages and families of hostages issued a public appeal on Sunday to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to establish a state commission of inquiry or resign from office.
"This commission must examine every aspect of that day, including the collapse of defense and intelligence systems, the unanswered calls for help, the abandonment of border communities for long hours, and the abandonment of civilians and soldiers to the inferno that unfolded across the country." The October Council added: "We call on the Government of Israel to stop evading, stop delaying, stop covering up, and immediately establish a state commission of inquiry. We demand truth. We demand justice. We demand accountability..."
Did leftist operatives in the IDF allow October 7 to derail Judicial Reform? Was there complicity within the IDF?
On March 9, 2024 Dr. Mordechai Nissan wrote "Ehud Barak, noteworthy Israeli army general with a highly decorated military career, acquired public notoriety last year for his role in masterminding, organizing, and financing, the sweeping protest campaign against judicial reform in Israel. Throughout 2023, prior to the slaughter of October 7, he and his like-minded political allies sowed chaos in the streets, intimidated citizens, mobilized strikes, incited army reservists, and brought Israel to the precipice of civil war. They engaged in a so-called non-violent struggle for democracy, speaking on behalf of entrenched elites in Israeli society, while charging that the democratically elected government of Binyamin Netanyahu was illegitimate...
"Barak’s misjudgment has now led him to call for thousands of Israelis to lay siege to the Knesset in order to bring down the government. With his typical bombast Barak recently declared, “When the state will be closed down, Netanyahu will understand that his time is up.” Promotion of turmoil has become the hallmark of Barak..."
On September 20, 2023 Arutz 7 reported "Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak says the current protests against the government's judicial reform plan will end with loss of life. "We are heading into civil non-violent disobedience. It's an extremely inspiring movement, and it will not stop..."
On July 26, 2023 Middle East Monitor reported Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev has asked Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara to open an investigation into former Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Forum 555 for inciting a coup d’état, the Jewish News Syndicate reported yesterday.
"Citing a video circulating on social media, Regev claimed it “shows without any shadow of a doubt that beginning in March 2020, former officials began concocting a plan for a coup d’état and civil disobedience, with detailed and careful planning.”
"Referring to the massive pro-democracy protests, the right-wing minister added: “We have been seeing the attempt to implement it in recent days.” According to Regev, the plan included “falsely presenting a danger to democracy with funding and investments totaling millions of shekels, leading to the point of no return—a civil war—as [Barak] begs them [opponents of judicial reform] to create clashes with the police.”
"This comes days after Public Diplomacy Minister, Galit Distel Atbaryan, Tweeted on Friday her claim that Barak planned to bring down the government. Atbaryan referred to an interview with Barak from 2020 to Forum 555, a group of retired Israel Air Force pilots and navigators, accusing Barak of deliberately inflaming the civilian population, creating a false representation of a danger to democracy and bankrolling protests...
"Regev added: “We cannot ignore these things at a time when we see the plan concocted years ago becoming reality and chaos reigning in the streets. Therefore, I demand that a criminal investigation against Ehud Barak and members of the 555 organisation be immediately opened, and that they be brought to justice for the forbidden acts that they have committed.”
Shortly after Ehud Barak's documented plans for a Coup d'Etat to derail Judicial Reform "failures" in the IDF enabled the October 7 attacks.
CTC West Point reported "...Israel had managed to collect some information that could have been considered indicators pointing to the attack, even if they were supposedly “weak signals.” These included the annual “Strong Pillar” exercises by Hamas, PIJ, and other groups that make up the so-called “Joint Operations Room,”75 including drills in which attacks against Israeli military structures and kidnappings were staged, as well as the digging of holes and planting of explosives along the border, as reported by female surveillance soldiers in the IDF’s Combat Intelligence Corps.76
" In addition, for more than a year before October 7, the IDF had reportedly been in possession of a document, the “Jericho Wall” file, that outlines a plan to invade Israel that largely corresponds to the October 7 events, as well as the training required to carry out such an operation.77 A report by Channel 12 alleges the document had been seen by IDF intelligence chief MG Aharon Haliva, 8200 commander BG Yossi Sariel, Gaza Division commander BG Avi Rosenfeld, and then IDF Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Eliezer Toledano. However, it was neither shared with the IDF’s top leadership nor with the top political leadership such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, or the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
"Meanwhile, in July 2023, a non-commissioned officer in AMAN’s 8200 SIGINT unit warned that a recent exercise by the group “closely followed the Jericho Wall plan, and that Hamas was building the capacity to carry it out.” The soldier issued additional warnings about Hamas’ plans over the coming weeks. According to Israeli media, these warnings reportedly led to a meeting between the soldier, an intelligence officer in the IDF’s Gaza Division, and others.
While there was no specific information regarding time, date, and exact location, the Gaza Division subsequently prepared a document warning that Hamas was planning a large-scale invasion and intended to take up to 250 hostages.
The same noncommissioned officer from Unit 8200 sent another warning to a number of IDF officers a few days before October 7, urging them to make preparations to minimize the impact of the expected attack. According to The New York Times, the soldier’s superiors dismissed her analysis, calling the plan “aspirational,” “totally imaginative,” and therefore beyond Hamas’ capabilities. One of the former heads of Israeli military intelligence, Amos Malka, has argued that these warnings were never passed on “to the top echelons of Military Intelligence or the top political decision-makers...”

On August 9, 2025 Arutz 7 reported "A special investigative team, established due to public mistrust in the IDF’s official inquiries, presents a disturbing picture of the senior military leadership’s handling of the Hamas attack on October 7, according to a report by Ayala Hasson. The team, led by Major General (res.) Sami Turjeman, included Major Generals (res.) Amikam Norkin, David Sharvit, and Brigadier General (res.) Ofer Levi, and relied on interrogations, recordings, and operational investigations.
Key findings include:
In July 2023 Ehud Barak was planning a Coup d'Etat to derail Judicial Reform, shortly after "failures" in the IDF enabled the October 7 attacks. If they knew about Hamas' "Jericho Wall", how could they dismiss it? Did leftist operatives in the IDF allow October 7 to derail Judicial Reform? Was there complicity within the IDF?
