Ariella Sternbach, Channel 13's correspondent for chareidi affairs, announced Tuesday that she is voting for HaTzibur HaChareidi, the new chareidi party led by Moti Litner. Sternbach said she knows the vote may not help the party cross the electoral threshold, but called it the most important vote she has ever cast.
"It's no secret that I've always voted for a right-wing party," Sternbach wrote. "This time my vote may go to waste, but it's the most important vote I've ever cast. It's a vote with a message for every citizen of the State of Israel."
"It's a vote for all the brilliant children in Beitar Illit, the city where I grew up, so they can take bagrut exams. It's a vote for Israel's economic future. It's a vote for my nephews, so their father does fewer reserve-duty days. It's a vote for all the fathers who want a pay slip and to give their children more."
